Sujet : Aquarelle montrant deux perruches (lori) bleues. Selon Christine E. Jackson, dans « Sarah Stone. Natural curiosities from the New Worlds » (1998), p. 129, ce travail a d’abord été catalogué dans le cadre du catalogue de vente du musée Leverian n ° 4748 «Perroquet bleu d’Otaheitan». Ps Taitanus ‘. [acheté par M. Vaughan en 1806. Le Leverian Museum de Londres a été vendu en 1806 et son contenu s’est dispersé après cette date. Ce travail a probablement été peint entre environ 1780 (quand beaucoup de spécimens des voyages du Capitaine Cook sont venus au Musée de Leverian), et 1789, quand Sarah Stone s’est mariée et a cessé de signer de son nom de jeune fille.
